Christie's Auction House in Geneva, Switzerland launched a special Rolex Daytona auction to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the iconic watch. Rolex has been manufacturing Daytona's since 1963. The auction included 50 Rolex Daytona watches.

One of the Rolex watches in the auction sold for over $1 Million! It was an ultra-rare, Rolex signed, Paul Newman model, stainless steel with a black dial, Cosmograph Oyster Daytona, manufactured in 1969.
The Rolex Daytona is the single-most iconic watch made by Rolex, the most famous watch-maker in the world.
